You Really Can

As a woman in academics, this question is always on my mind,   what do I do differently in other to encourage younger ones who wants to join academics?. Among other things that I have set out to do,   I had an inspiration one day to set up an academic blog just to inspire others especially women.

But typical of human mind, the doubt started popping up in my brain; Can you do it?, Can you even write?. You can’t write good English, your colleagues will laugh at you if you fail and many others.

All these questions were popping up in my brain but I remembered my personal motto  If I can think it, I can do it and I swung into action. I set up  this  blog  just to motivate and inspire women who wants to tow the path of academics.

This is one of my little wins and I want to  encourage others trying to start a project.

We are not there yet but we are moving forward. 

What is it that you have set your mind to do,

You can do it!

Yes, you have the capacity to actualize your dreams!

Yes, you have the right to aspire to be anything you want to be!

Yes, you can.
