YES YOU CAN

Hello friends,  I just  want to inspire someone

I have always loved academics and in spite of the limitations that I felt I had as a human being, I still forged ahead. I said limitations because most times we see only those things we can not do and we build our self-image around our deficiencies leading to inferiority complex.

I had this negative image of myself for many years until  I changed my mind set and embraced the mantra that says  If I can think it, I can do it.

I went into academics fulltime in 2010. Academics is not a terrain for mean minds and it is even more dearly when you are a woman. We women have to put in extra effort in other to succeed in what ever career we have chosen for ourselves, putting into consideration that you have the home front to maintain, the kids to take care of and a husband to pamper most times.  The task becomes even more onerous in academics because the unwritten rule is publish or perish.

But I am here to encourage someone, if I can do it, you can also. I may not have overcome all my deficiencies but I am sure not where I was, I have obviously moved up the ladder of success and I can tell you today not to limit yourself. In whatever situation we find ourselves, let us always aspire for greater success.

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Phhilippians 4:13 KJV
