  As so many of us are still working and studying from home and we are all adjusting to this new virtual world, you may find this new, freely available self-paced tutorial at  INASP  on  Facilitating Events and Courses in an Online World . Call for Applications: ARPPIS-DAAD PhD scholarships for study at icipe, Kenya

A Call for Applications is now open for the ARPPIS-DAAD PhD Scholarships at the International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology ( icipe ) in Kenya. These scholarships are given in partnership by the African Regional Postgraduate Programme in Insect Sciences (ARPPIS) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The primary objective of this PhD Programme is to prepare young researchers from Africa to compete in internationally competitive research and development environments within national, regional and international research programmes. ARPPIS scholars are provided with excellent research facilities in an interdisciplinary environment within a structured, three-year PhD programme that includes research, training, developing research partnerships, publishing scientific articles, writing  grant proposals, and attending scientific meetings and international conferences.
